Why Ducks Governance

NFTs prove ownership; Ducks turn that ownership into influence. Verified holders don’t just collect—they govern. Together we choose utilities, set priorities, and fund what matters, with results posted for everyone to see.

How It Works

1) Connect with WalletConnect

Open WalletConnect and link your wallet. We only request what’s needed to verify ownership.

2) Verify your Duck

Ownership of HBAR HODL Ducks (Token ID: 0.0.9549703) grants the right to vote.

3) Review Proposals

Each proposal includes context, options, and a closing time. Read the details, then choose.

4) Vote

Submit your choice. Each verified Duck equals one vote per proposal. (Multiple Ducks = multiple votes.)

5) See Results

When a vote closes, results are published for everyone to review.

Frequently asked questions about Governance

Who can vote?

Any wallet that verifies ownership of an HBAR HODL Duck NFT.

Is it one vote per wallet or per Duck?

Per Duck. Each verified Duck equals one vote per proposal.

Do you store my keys?

No. Verification uses WalletConnect; we never see your private keys or seed phrase.

Are votes on-chain?

Currently, votes are recorded off-chain in our database and results are made public. We may explore on-chain voting in the future.

What if I buy/sell Ducks after voting?

Votes already cast remain in the tally; future votes reflect your current verified holdings at the time of voting.

Where do I see results?

On the Governance page under Results go to the gove vote page

What does the Verified badge mean?

Your wallet is connected and at least one Duck is verified. You can vote in active proposals.

Is this financial advice?

No. Governance is for product and roadmap decisions. Nothing here is investment advice.
